Biography

My journey as a Digital Designer started when I was twelve, building my own website and learning HTML, CSS, Photoshop, and content development after school. I created a Photoshop resource community—back in the days of CS2—that amassed over a thousand active users daily. To say that I was hooked on starting my career in the digital world would be an understatement. I retired the site in my senior year of high school and set my sights on a formal design education in London, Ontario.

I graduated from Fanshawe College’s Design School with an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design on the Dean’s List in 2015. After finishing my studies, I started working at Northern Commerce in London, Ontario, as an intern, eventually becoming their Art Director in 2022, where I currently reside.

In January of 2021, I was afforded the honour to teach the program that I graduated from six years prior at Fanshawe College, teaching Interactive Design to the next generation of designers. I teach part time to give back to the school that gave so much to me, and am actively involved in class and workshop development for the courses that I teach.

I launched a passion project called Norm And Noble in 2021 (since closed)—an ocean-first appare company devoted to cleaning the remote coastline that surrounds Canada with each garment sold. The lessons and learnings from launching my own apparel line have forever changed the way I approach my career, and I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve been afforded.

In my personal time, you can find me exercising (gym and biking), reading, gardening, listening to all kinds of music, or reading about technology, geopolitics, business, and science.
